Job description

Golf Cart Mechanic / Service Technician

Bourbon City Golf Carts is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Golf Cart Mechanic / Service Technician to join our growing team in Charlestown, Indiana.

We are a small, family-oriented company specializing in the sales, service, repair, and customization of golf carts. Much of our work involves diagnosing and repairing electric golf carts, making this an excellent opportunity for technicians with experience in automotive repair, trailer repair, forklift maintenance, industrial equipment service, or related mechanical trades.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electric and gas golf carts
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, batteries, controllers, motors, and charging systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections
  • Install accessories and upgrades
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Communicate repair needs and recommendations with management

Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Automotive repair
    • Trailer repair
    • Forklift maintenance
    • Industrial equipment service
    • Small engine repair
    • Electrical diagnostics
  • Ability to use common hand and power tools
  • Valid driver's license
