Description:

Summary: Provide a high level of customer service to golfing members/guests. Sells and serves snacks and beverages (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) on the golf course in an efficient, professional manner according to set standards by performing the following duties.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Arrives at scheduled time and re-fills the beverage cart with the necessary snacks and beverages. Covers beverages in ice and fills “ice only” bin.
  2. Cleans and organizes the beverage cart prior to going on to golf course.
  3. Warmly greets members/guests while on the golf course.
  4. Applies knowledge of available snacks and beverages.
  5. Operate cart in safe and responsible manner. Stay on cart paths as much as possible.
  6. Check age identification if there is any question that the member/guest is not 21 years of age. Do not serve members/guests that appear intoxicated. Contact a manager on duty if the member/guest is not cooperating.
  7. Serves members/guests in a professional manner as per training guidelines.
  8. Record sales of all products. When serving members, be certain to get the accurate name and member number. Cash sales are not permitted generally, but there may be occasional exceptions for outside golf events/outings.
  9. Upon conclusion of shift, returns the beverage cart to the cart barn. Unloads and secures all alcoholic beverages in beer room. Returns cart to proper parking spot in cart bar.

Qualifications/Certifications:

  • Server permit from the Alcohol and Tobacco Commission
  • Valid driver's license in order to drive cart
  • Must be 19 years old (restricted server permit required)
