Position Overview

Our organization is currently looking for a skilled OB/GYN Physician to become a part of our dedicated team at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, situated within Fairbanks Memorial Hospital—the sole community hospital serving the Interior Alaska region.

The Role

This hospital-based clinic offers a comprehensive array of outpatient obstetric and gynecological services, including:

  • Prenatal care
  • Routine gynecological examinations
  • Contraceptive counseling
  • Menopause management
  • Assessment of common women's health issues

Our physicians serve patients from Fairbanks and surrounding rural areas, providing a diverse clinical practice with meaningful continuity of care. A dedicated team of OB hospitalists ensures 24/7 in-house coverage at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, offering additional support for labor and delivery as well as urgent situations.

Collaborative Environment

The OB community in Fairbanks thrives on collaboration. Our physicians work closely with various OB partners, including private practices and the Alaska Native health system, meeting regularly to coordinate care and enhance obstetric services throughout the region. This role offers a supportive atmosphere with strong professional relationships and a shared goal of improving maternal care for patients across Interior Alaska.

Compensation and Schedule

We offer a competitive compensation package:

  • Base salary of $361,000 plus wRVU production bonuses
  • Average total compensation ranging from $407,000 to $480,000
  • Sign-on bonus of $65,000

Your schedule will include:

  • Monday to Friday outpatient clinic hours
  • Shared call coverage
  • 280 hours of approved time off and 80 hours for continuing medical education (CME)

You will be joining a team that includes:

  • 2 OB/GYN Clinic Physicians
  • Registered Nurses (RNs)
  • Medical Assistants (MAs)
