Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications and services using Go. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with microservices, distributed systems, APIs, cloud technologies, databases, and containerized environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Golang (Go).
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and microservices.
  • Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance distributed systems.
  • Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Optimize application performance, memory utilization, and concurrency.
  • Leverage Go goroutines, channels, and concurrency patterns effectively.
  • Implement security, authentication, authorization, and data protection measures.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
  • Develop efficient data access layers and optimize database queries.
  • Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.
  • Work with NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Monitor application performance, system health, and service reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimations, stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
Required Technical Skills
  • Strong hands-on proficiency in Golang (Go).
  • Strong experience with REST APIs, gRPC, and Microservices Architecture.
  • Deep understanding of concurrency, goroutines, channels, and Go programming patterns.
  • Experience developing distributed and high-performance backend systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with containerized applications and cloud-native development.
  • Strong database experience with both SQL and NoSQL technologies.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and modern software development practices.
  • Experience troubleshooting and optimizing production applications.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Experience with event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with messaging systems and asynchronous processing.
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as:
