Job description

Essential Functions:

1. Maintains 100% total customer focus.

2. Works together with the other store employees and management as a team.

3. Works when scheduled by the Store Manager. Full-time team members work up to forty (40) hours per week, or more if necessary.

4. Understands and complies with company policies and procedures.

5. Executes policies, procedures, and tasks to maximize sales and profitability while controlling expenses and store losses.

6. Creates a positive store culture by treating customers, other team members, and management fair and with respect.

7. Maintains a safe and secure environment for all team members and customers.

8. Continuously trains and develops to become a more efficient team member.

9. Assists customers to solve any issues that may arise.

10. Completes paperwork and all other records requested by management in a timely manner.

11. Checks-in deliveries, correctly retailing merchandise according to prices set by the corporate office, and noting variations in invoice pricing.

12. Ensures the flawless execution of programs to accomplish store goals and objectives.

13. Maintains excellent store appearance inside and outside, including storerooms, offices, and restrooms. This includes cleanliness, merchandising, and organization.

14. Has knowledge concerning the appropriate operation of all store equipment.

15. Accurately operates all store equipment while offering fast, friendly service.

16. Reports any defects of store equipment to management.

17. Reports any accidents in the store to management.

18. Reacts to change productively and completes tasks as assigned.

19. Acts in a professional manner when dealing with customers, other team members, and management.

20. Uses good communication skills with customers, team members, and management.

21. Accurately operates cash register, lottery machine, as well as all other equipment.

22. Maintains dispensed beverages, equipment and supplies.
