Job description

General Statement of Duties:


Clinician will provide phone triage and high level clinical services to adult clients with mental health, co-occurring and substance use disorders. Provide assessment for individuals seeking services and/or comprehensive intakes, crisis intervention as needed, group, individual counseling, Provide some group counseling for offenders, court ordered, co-occurring individuals. Provide limited case management services and referral for targeted case management; Report all clinical and administrative functions via electronic health record and paper reporting mechanisms. Manage a clinical record for each client meeting quality assurance standards for state licensure, CARF, and the GMA Interventions Quality Assurance Unit.


Specific Duties with qualitative and quantitative measures of performance


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities required for the position: Must have knowledge and experience in individual and group counseling and supportive recovery services for persons with substance abuse and mental health disorders. ( Co-occurring)
Specific Credentials (Licensure/Certifications): LMHP-eligible PREFERRED CSAC/CSAC S REQUIRED
Minimum Qualifications: (Education/experience/etc) Clinician will hold a degree in the behavioral sciences from an institution of higher learning and/or at least 1 year experience in a community-based drug/alcohol treatment and mental health setting.
