Job description

As the National Region Coordinator, you are responsible for assigning and disposing of company-owned vehicles to ensure the appropriate flow of inventory based on currently provided parameters set by the General Motors client. Providing customer service to drivers through email, phone, and team messaging.  

Salary Overview:
The pay rate for this role starts at $20 per hour.

Hours:

The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm.

National Region Coordinator Responsibilities Include: 

  • Run and maintain inventory and driver reports using eCVMS to track inventory and driver activity daily. 
  • Problem-solving and assisting with GM driver inquiries via phone, email, and IM to provide updates and accurate information.  
  • Submit vehicle orders. 
  • Process credit and rebills using GM systems for driver company vehicle assignments as required.  
  • Work with regional offices to assign license plates to drivers outside of Michigan.  
  • Maintain inventory of manufacturer plates.  
  • Assist auction personnel with vehicle location as needed. 
  • Set up shipping of vehicles to dealerships for drivers as required. 
  • Assign vehicle swaps to company drivers using reports, email, and GM forms as required. 
  • Work with regional offices to assign license plates to drivers.  
  • Track ordered vehicles using GM programs. 
  • Update vehicle status in company systems using GM systems. 
  • Work with dealerships for new vehicle PDI/LPO by phone and/or email. 
  • Work with dealerships for repairs & recalls by email and/ or phone for the vehicles to be reassigned to a new driver or disposed of. 
  • Maintain vehicle files to record all vehicle information by placing all associated paperwork in the file. 
  • Prepare and complete disposals of company vehicles for auction and drive & buy sales using GM programs. 
  • Send tabs/license plate renewals to drivers by obtaining driver addresses. Then send it to the driver via FedEx. 
  • Perform Annual Physical Inventory by locating selected vehicles and working with drivers, dealerships, auctions, etc to fill out required paperwork per GM rules.    
  • Gather and complete paperwork and Power of Attorney for drivers to obtain license plates in states requiring passenger plates. 
  • Maintain ongoing training for processes and procedures. 
  • Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision. 

National Region Coordinator Qualifications and Skills:  

  • Must have a valid driver’s license. 
  • Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills. 
  • Must have exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills. 
  • Must be a self-starter. 
  • Must be a reliable team player. 
  • 1-year customer service experience preferred. 
  • Proficient in excel and outlook. 
  • Ability to use a printer for printing, scanning, and copying. 
  • Using Teams to make and receive phone calls.
