Job description

Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
  • Make all GM/HBC orders and turn them in on time.
  • Check in all GM/HBC orders according to company policy.
  • Stock GM/HBC merchandise.
  • Rotate all items when stocking and keep all out-of-date product off shelves.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Assist with all price changes and hanging of new shelf tags.
  • Meet all GM/HBC payroll/labor requirements.
  • Maintain a clean department according to company standards. This includes all GM/HBC sections on the sales floor.
  • Stack product and supplies in stockroom in a neat, clean, orderly manner.
  • Keep all shippers and 3-D end caps clean and in good order with neat, easy to read signs for pricing.
  • Order and stock for the entire department.
  • Maintain all department paperwork and keep accurate seasonal records.
  • Work all deletes and replacement items as directed by company policy.
  • Work and verify all GM/HBC plan-o-grams.
  • See that all electronic credits are taken care of immediately.
  • Supervise, train and develop qualified GM/HBC associates.
  • Communicate daily with the store manager.
  • Enforce and maintain all safety policies and procedures.
  • Attend department head meetings as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Grocery stocking experience a plus, but not required
  • Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
  • Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
