SUMMARY

The Sales Account Manager - Healthcare drives profitable growth across domestic and international healthcare accounts, selling medical-grade PVC compounds used in critical biomedical applications. This role supports customers across the U.S., Mexico, and the Dominican Republic and partners closely with the Global Healthcare COE in Italy.

The position manages complex, regulated medical accounts and works cross-functionally with Technical, Operations, Supply Chain, and Global Healthcare leadership. Bilingual Spanish/English is required.

PRODUCTS & APPLICATIONS

Medical-grade PVC compounds used in:

  • Renal tubing and dialysis kits

  • Infusion & perfusion tubing and IV accessories

  • Respiratory tubing and masks

  • Blood storage and blood-contact products

  • Biotech reproduction cannulas

  • Medical containers, bottles, and urology catheters

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as primary commercial contact for assigned healthcare accounts

  • Grow medical portfolio with focus on tubing, injection, and infusion applications

  • Manage account strategy, forecasts, margins, and pricing

  • Partner with Global Healthcare leadership and COE (Italy)

  • Lead customer engagements through material selection, validation, and commercialization

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Technical, Quality, and Operations

  • Identify new healthcare growth opportunities

  • Provide regular KPI and performance reporting

  • Travel domestically and internationally as required

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years sales or account management experience

  • Experience selling medical materials, polymers, compounds, or components into regulated healthcare environments

  • Bilingual English/Spanish

  • Comfortable working independently in a global, matrixed organization

Preferred

  • Experience with medical-grade plastics or compounds

  • Exposure to international or global accounts

  • Familiarity with regulated environments (FDA, ISO 13485, MDR)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Significant travel required, including domestic and international travel

  • Travel may exceed 40-50%, depending on customer and business needs

  • Must be comfortable traveling to customer sites, trade shows, and global meetings

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and travel; use hands and arms; and communicate verbally and in writing. The employee may occasionally lift up to 30 pounds. Specific vision and concentration abilities are required, along with the ability to travel by car and airplane.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is primarily conducted in an office and field-based customer environments. Some customer or operating unit visits may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, respiratory equipment, or protective clothing. Exposure to manufacturing or laboratory environments may occur.
