REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have TESOL Certification

- Must meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirements
- Bilingual preferred
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
  • Knowledge of school organization, goals and objectives, curriculum, teaching techniques, current trends, research, and materials of instruction in field of specialization
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the teaching and learning process
  • Ability to infuse technology into curriculum
  • Skilled in tracking student progress toward achieving goals and communicating progress to parents regularly
  • Knowledge of various assessment tools (running records, etc.)
  • Experience in differentiating instruction to meet students' needs and encouraging student growth and progress
  • Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds who have diverse skills and needs
