Job description

Join a highly visible leadership role at the intersection of Life Sciences innovation, analytical instrumentation, and digital transformation. As Principal Product Manager for our Hardware Service Plans portfolio, you will define strategy and lead lifecycle management for a global service business supporting industry-leading LC, MS, and related analytical workflows, while partnering across R&D, Service, Commercial, Finance, and Digital teams to drive growth, customer value, and profitability. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of service offerings by leveraging data, automation, and emerging AI capabilities to enhance customer outcomes and evolve the portfolio.

  • Define and execute the long-term strategy for a global hardware service plan portfolio, driving revenue growth, profitability, customer retention, and market leadership.
  • Drive innovation within the service portfolio by evaluating and implementing digital and AI-enabled capabilities that enhance service delivery, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead service plan commercialization and pricing strategy for new LC/MS and analytical instrument introductions, ensuring successful launch readiness and adoption.
  • Analyze portfolio performance using key business metrics including revenue, renewal rates, attach rates, margin, and customer retention to identify growth opportunities and drive business results.
  • Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Service Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and regional commercial teams to deliver strategic initiatives and portfolio enhancements.
  • Develop business cases, market assessments, and investment recommendations that improve competitiveness, customer value, and portfolio profitability.
  • Engage directly with customers, field teams, and commercial leaders to translate market insights into differentiated service offerings and lifecycle strategies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, Service Product Management, or related commercial leadership roles with significant revenue responsibility.
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience in portfolio strategy, pricing, profitability management, financial analysis, forecasting, and commercialization.
  • Working knowledge of Liquid Chromatography (LC), Mass Spectrometry (MS), analytical laboratory workflows, and instrumentation service business models.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a complex matrix organization while driving alignment and execution without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication, and executive presentation skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience leveraging digital technologies, automation, and AI to create innovative products, services, or customer experiences.
