Global Client Team - Project Manager (Remote)

The Global Client Team - Project Manager is accountable for operational projects, program optimization projects, special projects, technology product implementations,new implementations, medium to high complexity local country implementations, and account de-implementations for our global accounts. This may include coordination of multiple countries at the same time. This position will utilize proven project management methodology, tools, and processes (PMP, OPPM, Prince2, Six Sigma) to scope, plan, analyze, initiate, execute, monitor, and control projects.

As a Global Client Team - Project Manager, you will

  • Deliver projects within budget while actively managing costs during the execution of the project
  • Work closely with Finance to help track the budget throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Deliver projects within allocated time and resource targets and satisfy the defined scope and quality
  • Ensure performance measurements comply with departmental/project Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Leverage global, regional and local resources from the different departments and functions to support projects
  • Facilitate effective and constant communication with all project participants and key client stakeholders

About you

  • Prior experience in a qualified project management role in the travel industry
  • Personnel management experience
  • General knowledge of GDS systems, front/mid/back office agency operations required
  • Advanced knowledge of project management software and Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Experience with Smartsheet preferred)
  • Must be able to manage 25-50% or higher ratio of complex projects
  • Professional, concise, and mature written and verbal communication skills
  • Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt, PMP, or other project management certification preferred but not required
