We are seeking a Global Business Process Owner for SAP Operations to support our Business Modernization Program.
Moog is undertaking a major ERP transformation, referred to as the Business Modernization Program (BMP), that spans multiple functional areas across our global enterprise. As a company of more than 14,000 employees operating in 24 countries, Moog is known for its culture of trust, innovation, and technical excellence.
As the Global Business Process Owner (GBPO) you are responsible for defining, governing, and maintaining standardized global business processes within your functional domain during and after the BMP. You will ensure that the ERP solution aligns with global process standards, drives harmonization across regions, and acts as the ultimate authority for process-related decisions. You will collaborate with SMEs, data leads, and the project team to deliver a consistent, efficient, and compliant global process framework.
*You will work an onsite schedule at our Corporate Headquarters in East Aurora, NY.
To qualify for the Global Business Process Owner, here is what you will need to bring with you:
  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least seven (7) years of experience in a comparable manufacturing industry, working within complex supply chain processes and application of governance.
  • Demonstrated experience executing continuous improvement initiatives, practices lean methodology, such as Six Sigma.
  • Proven strong leadership and decision-making skills, with at least three years' experience leading distributed teams; global team leadership is preferred.
  • Ability to balance global standardization within an ERP transformation program.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to support approximately 30% travel, both domestic and international.
  • *Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite.
  • SAP experience, ECC and/or S4 Hana platform, strongly preferred.

As the Global Business Process Owner, you will be responsible for the following:
Process Design & Governance
  • Define and approve global process standards and policies.
  • Ensure alignment of ERP configurations with global process requirements.
  • Maintain ownership of process documentation and governance frameworks.

Decision-Making Authority
  • Act as a co-decision-maker for process-related conflicts or escalations.
  • Approve exceptions and ensure compliance with global standards.

Collaboration & Alignment
  • Work with regional SMEs, process champions, and business champions to harmonize processes.
  • Ensure local variations are minimized and justified.

Testing & Validation
  • Validate that ERP configurations and workflows reflect approved global processes.
  • Participate in integration and user acceptance testing for critical scenarios.

Change Management Support
  • Communicate process changes and rationale to stakeholders.
  • Support OCM efforts by explaining global standards and benefits.

Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor process performance post-go-live.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and ensure sustainability.

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $130,000.00-$180,000.00 Annually
