Position Summary

Virtuous is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Marketing Operations Manager to join our growing Marketing Team. The position will report to the VP, Marketing. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing marketing efforts in relation to revenue attribution, campaign lead management, digital marketing analytics, and providing insights to leadership that will drive pipeline generation. They should be AI-native treating modern AI tools as a natural extension of how they work.

This position should excite someone who wants to build attribution and automation infrastructure from the ground up and who is comfortable owning that roadmap alongside Revenue Operations. For an ideal candidate to be successful, they will need to be a strategic, AI-native thinker, who instinctively reaches for AI tools to move faster than traditional processes and who is willing to take ownership over all things marketing operations. Core focus areas: multi-touch attribution modeling, prospect journey mapping across channels, marketing automation (HubSpot workflows), pipeline/lead management, ROI analysis, and building dashboards for leadership visibility.


Responsibilities
  • Own the design, build, and ongoing management of a multi-touch marketing attribution model that tracks the full prospect journey across all marketing and sales touch points, from first touch to closed-won

  • Identify, pilot, and implement AI-powered tools and workflows for reporting automation, lead lifecycle journeys, data enrichment, and lead scoring to increase the speed and scale of marketing operations as the team grows

  • Monitor health and activity of the pipeline, flagging bottlenecks and stage-conversion issues; partner with RevOps on shared definitions and lead to opportunity handoff SLAs.

  • Own integrations across the marketing tech stack connecting HubSpot with adjacent tools (e.g., ad platforms, enrichment, intent data) ensuring data flows cleanly between systems and new tools are evaluated and implemented without creating silos

  • Create and manage reports/dashboards that will provide a centralized location with visibility into marketing attribution, conversion activity and pipeline

  • Identify and communicate trends and ROI analysis to Marketing Stakeholders and leadership to drive pipeline and revenue generation

  • Ensure data quality within the CRM by establishing best practices for marketing data collection

  • Manage HubSpot Marketing campaigns, workflow logic, templates, and integrations, that allow us to scale our GTM motions

  • Collaborate with the cross-functional ops team members including RevOps, CX Ops, etc to ensure agreement on shared definitions, handoffs, reporting, and processes; flagging breakdowns before they stall pipeline

  • Provide general operational support to marketing as needed

  • Think outside the box and identify opportunities along the way

You Must Have
  • 5+ years in marketing operations and/or digital marketing

  • HubSpot CRM experience required

  • Experience leveraging GA4 (Google Analytics 4) for cross-channel tracking and attribution

  • Experience owning/maintaining many system integrations

  • Strategic thinker with a desire to own the marketing operations function

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to details, familiarity with project management tools such as Asana

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

  • Startup environment/SaaS experience preferred

  • Independent, self-starter who thrives in a fast pace environment
