Job Description:
Job Requirements
  • Translate high-level business strategic objectives and goals into Enterprise IT requirements and conceptual designs.
  • Develop and implement the long-term strategic vision for the Global network Services that defines goals, objectives, and performance metrics aligned with the organization's overall business objectives.
  • Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for network infrastructure improvements and make recommendations for investments in equipment, software, and resources.
  • Responsible for managing and leading the global network services team of FTE's and Contractors including hiring, setting performance goals and expectations, conducting performance evaluations, and providing coaching and mentoring to foster professional growth.
  • Allocate resources effectively, delegate responsibilities, and ensure that the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of network architectures that meet the organization's requirements for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Responsible for managing multi-million dollar budget for network Services that involves forecasting, planning, and allocating budget effectively for support, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to negotiate contracts with vendors and manage relationships with third-party service providers.
  • Oversee network performance metrics, capacity utilization, and trends to identify bottlenecks, areas for optimization, and potential risks.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve network performance, enhance scalability, and ensure high availability and maintain service levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve complex incidents, ensuring minimal impact to business operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to assess vendor capabilities and identify opportunities for strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and enforce network policies and procedures to mitigate security risks and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Should be able to provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to senior management, on network performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives and projects and have customer facing conversations
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate understanding and alignment of network-related initiatives.
  • Encourage innovation, identify areas for process optimization, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and support of large enterprise global WAN & LAN networks and projects.
  • Provide continual improvement in Network by having adequate checks and balances.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally, if needed.

Technical Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience with networking technologies, concepts, Protocols. Including but not limited to routing, switching, Zero Trust Network Architecture, IPAM, DNS, DDNS, DHCP, F5 GTM / LTM, SSH, VPN, Internet Proxy, IP routing protocols including RIP, BGP, OSPF, IP Multicast, MPLS, TCP/IP, UDP, etc.
  • Experience with network configurations and routing, Quality of Service, Netflow, Wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, virtual routing and networks, cloud networks, NAT, ACL controls, Web Security/URL Filtering, IPSec, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Malware Prevention
  • Knowledge, skills and experience with HPE Aruba and Juniper routing, switching, and wireless hardware, software and protocols including Juniper Mist, Apstra, Aruba Mobility Controllers, Aruba Instant Aps, Aruba Airwave, Aruba Networking Central, and Aruba ClearPass or equivalent TACACS.
  • Experience with SDN, SD-WAN products and services, Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and network facilities.
  • Experience in firewall design, configuration and in network security including: Device Hardening, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Firewalls, and IPSec, vulnerability assessment and intrusion detection.
  • Strong WAN experience managing global network infrastructure.
  • Experience in network performance monitoring and identifying potential issues to improve stability and resiliency.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation on system configuration, network diagrams, and troubleshooting guides

Education and Experience
  • Master's degree in Business Management - Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
  • 6 years of progressive experience in Team management, leading global team, manage service providers and partners, Budgeting forecasting and planning,
  • 12 years of technical experience in network architecture, design, engineering and implementation in global IT networks and network security.
