Job description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience with one or more optical technologies such as optical transceivers, optical metro, or long-haul Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems.
  • Experience in one or more programming languages such as C , Go, or Python.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with network equipment manufacturer or network operator in engineering or design role.
  • Experience with planning and designing networks (e.g., multiple sites, multiple products, etc.).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Define requirements and identify technologies for scaling our transport network in a cost-efficient and operationally streamlined manner.
  • Engage with external vendors and internal teams to operationalize stable, scalable platforms.
  • Develop and execute test plans for optical systems.
  • Automate test infrastructure to qualify and introduce new products into our production network.
  • Develop tools and processes for automation of network management and operations
