Job Overview:

The Program Manager, Global Mobility & Immigration will lead the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of SharkNinja's global mobility and immigration programs, supporting employees across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Reporting to the VP, Total Rewards, this role serves as the primary operational and strategic partner for employees, managers, immigration counsel, HR, Legal, Compensation, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders. 

As part of the Global Total Rewards organization, you will help create a seamless, intuitive, and compliant experience for employees navigating international mobility and immigration. The Program Manager, Global Mobility & Immigration balances operational excellence with strategic program execution, ensuring global mobility and immigration programs scale with SharkNinja's rapid growth while delivering an exceptional employee experience. 

Leveraging AI, automation, analytics, and technology, you will continuously improve operational efficiency, simplify complex global mobility processes, strengthen compliance, and deliver a 5-star employee experience. You will partner across functions to optimize policies, processes, and vendor relationships while identifying innovative, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that support both employees and the business. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end global mobility and immigration programs supporting employees across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, ensuring a seamless employee experience and strong regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, immigration counsel, and internal stakeholders regarding global mobility and immigration matters.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for U.S. and Canadian employment-based immigration while partnering with external immigration counsel to support immigration matters across EMEA and APAC.
  • Manage employment-based immigration programs including visa sponsorship, renewals, permanent residence processes, work authorization, compliance activities, and case management.
  • Partner closely with HR, Compensation, Payroll, Legal, Finance, and business leaders to ensure mobility and immigration activities align with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and employee needs.
  • Provide consultation and guidance on complex global mobility and immigration matters, including policy interpretation, assignment structures, employee scenarios, relocation support, and cross-border employment considerations.
  • Support global mobility program administration, including cost projections, assignment documentation, policy consultation, vendor coordination, and international immigration support.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Global Mobility and Immigration policies, governance standards, compliance frameworks, and operational procedures that support globally mobile employees.
  • Lead and support process optimization initiatives by leveraging AI, automation, digital tools, and technology to simplify workflows, reduce administrative complexity, improve operational efficiency, and build scalable global programs.
  • Continuously evaluate the employee journey across mobility and immigration programs, identifying opportunities to improve the employee experience while balancing compliance, operational excellence, and cost effectiveness.
  • Partner with the Total Rewards Workforce Intelligence team to identify, interpret, and leverage mobility and immigration data and insights that support business decisions, compliance monitoring, employee experience, and program effectiveness.
  • Utilize program metrics and analytics to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and cost drivers, providing recommendations that strengthen compliance, improve operational effectiveness, and enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with external immigration counsel, mobility providers, relocation vendors, and other partners, establishing service expectations, driving accountability, and continuously improving service delivery.
  • Monitor global immigration legislation, mobility trends, emerging technologies, and AI capabilities to proactively recommend innovative, scalable, and cost-effective program enhancements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by challenging existing processes, embracing innovation, and delivering operational excellence that supports SharkNinja's continued global growth.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Global Mobility Specialist (GMS), SHRM, SPHR, or related certifications are preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Global Mobility, Immigration, Global HR Operations, Total Rewards, or a related HR discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience managing global mobility and immigration programs across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. and Canadian employment-based immigration programs, compliance requirements, and global mobility practices, with a working knowledge of immigration processes across EMEA and APAC and experience partnering effectively with external immigration counsel to support regional requirements.
  • Experience managing complex immigration case portfolios, international assignments, relocations, and globally mobile employee populations.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with HR, Compensation, Payroll, Legal, Finance, Workforce Intelligence, immigration counsel, mobility providers, and business leaders.
  • Experience developing and implementing mobility policies, governance frameworks, operational standards, and process improvements.
  • Demonstrated success leveraging AI, automation, and technology solutions to improve operational efficiency, employee experience, and program effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience managing relationships with external immigration counsel, mobility providers, and other strategic vendors, leveraging their regional expertise to deliver compliant, efficient, and cost-effective immigration and mobility support across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Exceptional communication, consultation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and continuous improvement skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
