Merchandising Specialist - Lee Women's
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the collection and organization of information needed by style/color to ensure correct execution in production of all styles in the product line,
  • Generates line sheets utilized by Lee Merchandising, Merchandising Services, and Production Planning during the development, sell-in, and production of each seasonal product line.
  • Communicates style level information as needed to departments throughout the organization including the Design, Sales, Tech Services, Planning and Customer Service.
  • Plays a lead role in the communication and development of ticketing, working with brand and all key parties to execute to final ticket on spec in a timely manner.
  • Provides continuous maintenance of line room including the maintenance and tracking of multiple sample lines.
  • Interfaces with key sales people on behalf of merchandiser - ex: answers questions, prepares document listings as requested, gets special packages together, fields sales suggestions
  • Attends specified sales functions and occasional account sell-in meetings.
  • Delivers product line presentations in the Merchandiser's absence as required.
  • Orders product samples as needed for sales meetings, presentations, fashion shows, etc. Coordinates styles to be selected with Merchandiser.
  • Facilitates special projects with the ability to travel between all Kontoor Greensboro locations on a regular basis

Skills for Success:
  • Knowledge of PC applications and administrative clerical functions.
  • Familiarity with fabric and clothing construction and basic functions of company operations, including manufacturing locations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment, with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to think logically, show initiative and work independently.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Occasional night or weekend work.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Experience/Education:
  • Years of Related Professional Experience: 2-4
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Prefer 2 year or 4 year degree in Consumer Apparel and Retail Studies, Business Management or Merchandising; or equivalent business experience.
