Key responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the Americas marketing strategy, priorities, and operating model in alignment with business and growth objectives.

  • Lead the marketing operating model supporting account-based and revenue marketing motions across the Americas, translating account growth hypotheses and stakeholder priorities into targeted marketing actions.

  • Own business requirements, adoption, and governance for marketing technology, including platform configuration, integrations, and technical enablement.

Job description

Tasks Tasks Tasks
The Team
MHP Americas is seeking a hands-on Senior Marketing Lead to serve as the functional marketing leader for the Americas. This role combines strategy, orchestration, and selective hands-on execution in a fast-moving B2B consulting environment. The role works closely with Sales, Responsible Partners (RPs), GTM Leads, Consulting Services / Solution Units (SUs), strategic partners, and MHP's global marketing organization.
The successful candidate will build on an established marketing foundation and continue to industrialize the operating model: focus the portfolio, strengthen account-based and ecosystem GTM motions, scale Salesforce and marketing automation, improve attribution and reporting, and create repeatable processes that directly support account growth and pipeline progression.
The role directly owns Americas marketing strategy, prioritization, orchestration, performance management, and selected high-priority execution. Delivery is enabled through commercial teams, global marketing capabilities, internal subject-matter experts, platform teams, and external agencies. This is a senior individual-contributor leadership role with the opportunity to help shape the future Americas marketing capability model.
First-Year Priorities
  • Establish a focused Americas portfolio of market-ready offers and campaigns aligned to priority accounts, buyer needs, and growth objectives.
  • Operationalize a disciplined named-account and ecosystem GTM model that enables RPs and Sales Directors to progress priority stakeholders and opportunities.
  • Improve Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE/Pardot) adoption, campaign governance, nurture, attribution, and commercial reporting.

What Success Looks Like
Success will be phased based on business priorities, platform readiness, available resources, and alignment across Americas and global stakeholders.
  • A focused portfolio of market-ready offers with clear ICPs, buyer needs, value propositions, differentiators, proof points, and activation plans.
  • A disciplined ABM operating model that supports RPs and Sales Directors in progressing named accounts and engaging priority stakeholders.
  • Salesforce and MCAE/Pardot operating as the shared system of record for campaign execution, nurture, attribution, and reporting.
  • A deliberate SAP and strategic-partner ecosystem plan that maps relationships, communications, campaigns, and partner activity to named accounts and commercial outcomes.
  • Marketing performance measured through a balanced set of directly controlled and shared commercial measures, including account engagement, stakeholder reach, conversion, funnel progression, marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline, sales adoption, and defined business outcomes.
  • Scalable governance, processes, and cross-functional ways of working that reduce dependence on individual heroics.

How the Role Works
  • The Senior Marketing Lead owns the Americas marketing plan, prioritization, activation model, orchestration, and performance reporting.
  • Sales and RPs retain ownership of account strategy, client relationships, pursuits, and account growth.
  • GTM Leads and SUs retain accountability for solution integrity, delivery readiness, commercial viability, and subject-matter claims.
  • Global Marketing retains responsibility for global brand standards, enterprise platforms, and global programs; the Senior Marketing Lead adapts and activates those capabilities for the Americas market.
  • The Senior Marketing Lead owns business requirements, adoption, and governance for marketing technology, working with platform administrators and global teams on configuration, integrations, and technical enablement.

Core Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Operating Model
  • Own and evolve the MHP Americas marketing strategy, priorities, investment recommendations, and operating model in alignment with business and growth objectives.
  • Translate commercial priorities into a focused roadmap across ABM, demand generation, content, ecosystem partnerships, digital, and field marketing.
  • Establish governance, intake, prioritization, and measurement so limited capacity is directed to the highest-value opportunities.
  • Operate as a strategic partner to Americas executive leadership while remaining willing to execute hands-on where needed.

Account-Based & Revenue Marketing
  • Lead the marketing operating model supporting Tier 1, Tier 2, and broader account-based motions across the Americas.
  • Partner with RPs and Sales Directors to translate account growth hypotheses, stakeholder priorities, and pursuit needs into targeted marketing actions.
  • Build and improve nurture, segmentation, and demand-generation programs aligned to named accounts, ideal customer profiles, and priority offers.
  • Create visibility into marketing-supported account progression and use insights to improve targeting, messaging, and investment decisions.

GTM Strategy & Market-Facing Productization
  • Lead the market-facing productization process with GTM Leads and SUs, translating MHP capabilities into a focused portfolio of differentiated, market-ready offers.
  • Define ICPs and buyer personas, customer problems, value propositions, differentiators, proof points, claims, and campaign narratives.
  • Ensure GTM messaging is clear, consistent, commercially relevant, and easy for Sales and ecosystem partners to activate.
  • Connect priority offers to ABM, partner motions, thought leadership, events, sales enablement, and campaign activation.

Marketing Operations, Automation & Analytics
  • Own Americas marketing business processes, requirements, adoption, and governance across Salesforce and MCAE/Pardot, including segmentation, campaign structure, nurture journeys, automation, attribution, and reporting.
  • Partner with platform administrators, Sales, operations, and global teams on configuration, integrations, enablement, and practical standards for campaign and audience data quality.
  • Develop dashboards and performance measures connecting marketing activity to account engagement, funnel progression, pipeline influence, and commercial outcomes.
  • Continuously improve scalable workflows and reduce manual reporting or parallel tracking where systems can provide the source of truth.

Ecosystem & Partner GTM
  • Develop and execute ecosystem GTM motions with strategic partners, including SAP, Siemens, and others relevant to MHP Americas growth priorities.
  • Build and maintain relationship maps, communication plans, and activation plans across partner executives, field and account teams, marketing, industry, and solution stakeholders.
  • Partner with commercial leaders to connect ecosystem activity to named accounts, offers, opportunities, and measurable pipeline actions.
  • Coordinate partner positioning, co-marketing, enablement, events, battle cards, portal content, and joint campaigns where they support the GTM strategy.

Brand, Content & Communications
  • Strengthen the MHP Americas narrative and ensure consistent brand and message quality across channels, offers, campaigns, and executive communications.
  • Own the editorial and content strategy, prioritizing thought leadership, case studies, social content, and sales enablement that support named GTM priorities.
  • Guide creation of high-quality assets and presentations and work effectively with internal contributors, global teams, and agencies.
  • Maintain strong organic visibility and internal amplification when it advances market credibility, partner relationships, or commercial goals.

Events & Field Marketing
  • Use owned, sponsored, and partner events as intentional GTM channels tied to target accounts, partner relationships, and priority offers.
  • Define event objectives, target audiences, messaging, activation, and follow-up plans; ensure execution translates into measurable account and pipeline actions.
  • Orchestrate internal operations, vendors, partners, and leadership to ensure high-quality execution while appropriately delegating logistics and production.

AI-Enabled Marketing
  • Establish responsible, repeatable AI-enabled workflows across research, audience insight, content, personalization, campaign execution, marketing operations, and performance optimization.
  • Prioritize applications that produce measurable improvements in speed, quality, scalability, or insight, and recommend where MHP should experiment, scale, or stop.

Global Collaboration & Resource Orchestration
  • Work closely with MHP Germany / global marketing to leverage existing campaigns, assets, references, brand standards, platform capabilities, and strategic relationships while adapting them for the Americas market.
  • Lead cross-functional contributors across Sales, RPs, GTM Leads, SUs / SMEs, operations, global teams, and external agencies without relying solely on formal authority.
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships selectively, with clear scopes, performance expectations, and ROI accountability.
  • Help define the future Americas marketing team and capability model as the business continues to scale.
