The Global Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, standardizing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for Data Center Liquid Cooling (DCLC) products across Danfoss production sites and supplier locations worldwide. This role drives consistent quality, operational excellence, and scalable manufacturing practices while supporting new product industrialization and global growth.

Success in this role is measured by the implementation of standardized manufacturing processes, improved operational performance, and successful deployment of new products across the global manufacturing network.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and maintain standardized manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production standards across global DCLC manufacturing sites.
  • Lead industrialization activities for new products, including process development, tooling, pilot builds, validation, and production launch support.
  • Establish and monitor global manufacturing KPIs, process controls, and best practices to ensure consistent performance and quality.
  • Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost performance.
  • Conduct process audits and support corrective actions to ensure compliance with global manufacturing standards.
  • Partner with Quality teams to develop PFMEAs, control plans, testing requirements, and validation processes.
  • Support supplier and plant capability assessments, onboarding, and process standardization efforts across the manufacturing network.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in a multi-site or global manufacturing environment.
  • Experience implementing standardized manufacturing processes and supporting new product industrialization.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, process capability, and quality tools including PFMEA, SPC, DOE, and root cause analysis.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with complex mechanical, thermal, fluid handling, or cooling system products.
  • Experience supporting automation, robotics, digital manufacturing, or advanced production technologies.
  • Experience working with global suppliers and contract manufacturers.


Job Criteria

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process validation, quality systems, and operational excellence principles.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across multiple sites and regions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to lead global initiatives and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support manufacturing plants and supplier locations.
