Job description

The Learning & Development Specialist will be responsible for producing high-quality project documentation and training materials to support multiple client implementations and product rollouts. The role will work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and stakeholders to ensure all documentation meets company standards, accessibility requirements, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, quick reference guides, lesson plans, and supporting documentation

• Develop training presentations and instructional materials

• Produce SCORM-compliant learning content for end users

• Ensure all documentation complies with accessibility and organizational standards

• Work collaboratively with Business Analysts and project teams

• Support multiple projects and modules simultaneously

• Review and improve existing documentation standards and templates

• Assist with training delivery where required

• Ensure timely delivery of documentation aligned with project timelines

Mandatory Skills

• Experience creating technical and end-user documentation

• Experience within Learning & Development or instructional design

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience developing training materials and presentations

• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint

• Experience working in project-driven environments

Desired Skills

• Experience creating SCORM-compliant eLearning content

• Experience within software implementation or SaaS environments

• Familiarity with LMS platforms and training systems

• Experience supporting government or public sector projects

• Knowledge of change management and user adoption practices

• Experience working alongside Business Analysts and delivery teams

Minimum Years of Experience

2-3 years minimum relevant experience in technical writing, instructional design, learning and development, or training content creation.

Required Education and / or Certificates

Relevant certifications in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or Technical Writing are desirable.
