Description -
Job Summary
• The Global Business Development Manager (GBDM) leads global sales opportunities for acquisition and retention customers. The GBDM provides pan-HP leadership to leverage customers global buying opportunities and loyalty. The GBDM develops global customer solutions across country, regional and global virtual teams. This role supports global sales navigating through complex negotiations, collaborates across functions and analyzes competition.
Responsibilities
- Global expertise resource for sales managers and global account managers to drive senior level customer engagements and sales.
- Collaborates and leads HP solution opportunities.
- Gathers and assesses customer global technical requirements within global offer.
- Actively supports the account team with global solution input.
- Proactively delivers and presents customer global program solution set.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor through the sales cycle, leads complex negotiations.
- Manages the global governance process to ensure the offered global solution has internal cross region global agreement.
- Subject matter expert on competitive capabilities, including Dell/Lenovo/Xerox, etc.
- Focus on growing the share within an existing customer by analyzing the buying behavior and ensuring we do get our fair share across products in all countries
- Proactively drive up-sell/cross sell opportunities of existing accounts.
- Cross regional coordination and management of all inbound opportunities from presales to won stage.
- Subject matter expert on global solutions, transacational, contractual (GSI's, direct selling motion and international partner programs).
- Subject matter expert on all global related legal issues and SOX compliance.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in sales, services, account management, or a related field.

Salary
The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $139,950 to $206,450 USD
annually with a 80%/20% (salary/incentive) mix.
There are additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonuses and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
