Renova Global Foundation is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring lives and rebuilding healthcare systems in underserved communities. Our work begins in Liberia, where we are developing sustainable, infrastructure-secured healthcare solutions, beginning with dialysis and kidney care.

About the Volunteer Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Volunteer Grant Research & Writing Specialist to help strengthen Renova’s fundraising and institutional funding efforts. This volunteer will work with our leadership team to identify grant opportunities and assist with developing strong, mission-aligned proposals.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Research foundations, corporations, government programs, and other potential funding opportunities.
  • Identify grants that align with Renova’s healthcare, infrastructure, workforce development, and community-impact initiatives.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline of grant opportunities, eligibility requirements, and deadlines.
  • Assist with drafting and reviewing letters of inquiry, proposals, and grant applications.
  • Help gather information and supporting materials needed for applications.
  • Support follow-up, reporting, and funder research as needed.

Ideal Candidate

We welcome volunteers with experience or interest in nonprofit grant writing, fundraising, research, communications, public health, international development, or related fields. Strong research and written communication skills are important. Previous grant-writing experience is preferred but not required.
