Job Description:
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Strategic Program Manager to support the Global eCommerce organization and serve as an operational backbone for the team and oversee projects that are critical to the growth and evolution of HPE's eCommerce business. The ideal candidate is highly organized, can operate with and through operational ambiguity, and is experienced deploying modern automation and AI tools to streamline workflows across large, distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Program & Operational Leadership
  • Act as the operational backbone for the Global eCommerce organization: manage weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting cadences, deliverables and meeting plans.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of specific initiatives across the Global eCommerce organization, including business growth programs, operational efficiency plans, and cross-functional transformations.
  • Own and maintain an integrated program plan across key eCommerce initiatives, ensuring alignment across certain stakeholders, accountability to execution plans and proper sequencing of deliverables.
  • Track critical paths and surface risks, trade-offs, and escalation needs to leadership with actionable recommendations.
  • Act as a central coordination point across eCommerce leaders to ensure information flows effectively throughout the organization.

AI, Automation and Process Improvement
  • Evaluate, pilot, and scale AI-enabled workflows and automation (e.g., LLMs/generative AI, RPA, workflow automation, smart templates) to improve organizational coordination, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Continuously refine planning and operating models to increase velocity and reduce manual work.
  • Develop clear, concise, executive-ready communications, reports, and presentations, delivering fast turnarounds while operating with limited resources

Skills & Attributes:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:
  • Highly organized and structured thinker with strong operational discipline
  • Resourceful problem solver who can navigate through ambiguity with sound reasoning
  • Strong ability to manage complex cross-functional programs, including planning, stakeholder management, dependency management, and execution and risk tracking across multiple teams
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear executive updates
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence across global teams and leadership levels
  • Laser-focused operational execution with the ability to adapt for strategic pivots

Education & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, operations, strategy, or consulting supporting complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing AI/automation tools or platforms to improve team workflows-examples: deploying LLM-based assistants for status synthesis, automating report generation, building workflow automations, or integrating AI into collaboration tools.
  • Strong program management skills: planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination across time zones.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to create executive-ready materials and dashboards.
  • Comfortable influencing at multiple levels and holding teams accountable for commitments.

Why This Role Matters:
You will enable the Global eCommerce organization to move faster and with more clarity-turning strategy into measurable results while reducing manual work through practical AI and automation solutions.
