 The Engineering Project Assistant will provide administrative and project coordination support by managing procurement and kitting activities, tracking project tasks, coordinating documentation and software revisions, overseeing peer review processes, preparing shipping documentation, and collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

What You Will Do: 

  • Provide administrative support to project engineers and teams.

  • Submit procurement requests for necessary parts, ensuring all specifications and quantities are accurately ordered.

  • Oversee receipt and organization of ordered parts for the kitting process.

  • Submit completed kits to the build team, ensuring all parts are available.

  • Preparing domestic and international shipping memos

  • Track work requests using Jira or other project management tools.

  • Assist in coordinating the release and revisions of documentation and software.

  • Manage Peer Reviews, including creating reviews, tracking action items, and closing out the process.

  • Communicate effectively with peers, engineers, and other departments.

  • Collaborate to achieve objectives and resolve issues.

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience 

  • Experience in parts ordering and inventory management

  • US Citizen or Permanent Residence

Qualifications We Prefer: 

  • Parts ordering or inventory management using SAP

  • Organizational and time management skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Oral and written communication skills

The salary range for this role is 41,400 USD - 72,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
