JOB SUMMARY:
The General Warehouse team member is responsible for providing operational excellence for Sunland Logistics Solutions, Inc. by maintaining a clean, neat and orderly work area.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-11:30am (may be flexible)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Safety, Sanitation, Security - Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Sweeping, mopping, detail work (cleaning underneath and wiping equipment)
  • Handling damaged goods, cleaning supplies, gathering wrap and cardboard.
  • Use of floor scrubber.
  • Utilizing other equipment to navigate around the warehouse to gather garbage and recyclables.
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes Safety. Comply with OSHA, EPA and MSDS Standards.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate hand truck, pallet jack and other MHE that is required.
• Respond promptly and professionally to Sunland and/or customer needs.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
• Balances team and individual responsibilities.
• Consistently at work and on time.
• Able to work day, afternoon shifts.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year or more related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to ten
pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally team lift and/or move more than one
hundred pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Candidates must pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen and road test administered by the Sunland.
