Job description

Residential Glass Installer
Details Matter Here. So Do the People Doing the Work.
Studio G began in 1995 and has grown into a design-forward company specializing in residential glass, closets, and premium hardware for new construction and renovation projects along the lakeshore. We work with builders, designers, and homeowners at the final stage of construction-when precision, organization, and craftsmanship matter most.
This is not rushed, production-style work.
This is clean, detailed finish work.
Our installers are supported by clear scheduling, prepared job sites, and a team that values communication and quality. For this highly technical role, we are looking for a methodical, precision-focused professional who takes deep personal pride in absolute accuracy. If you are a naturally cautious planner who loves to master a specialized trade, double-check measurements, and let your flawless finished work do the talking, you will thrive in our team culture.
Key Responsibilities & What You'll Be Doing:
  • Precision Installation: Safely transport, handle, and install premium custom glass, luxury shower enclosures, and specialty mirrors to and at both production and high-end residential sites.
  • Technical Measurement: Interpret architectural layouts, verify structural framing alignments, and utilize lasers and level tools to achieve exact tolerances. Ability to use fractions and decimals for accurate measurements.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve subtle adjustments needed for out-of-plumb walls or uneven surfaces before setting permanent glass structures.
  • Clean & Controlled Workspace: Maintain a highly organized tool kit and clean up wood/metal shavings immediately, leaving luxury homes in pristine condition. Main tools, equipment and company vehicles
  • Client Care: Deliver a clean, professional finish on-site, respecting luxury properties and representing the premium reputation of Studio G.
  • Humbly Serve: Take pride in disciplined, precise workmanship while collaborating with Studio G team members in a stable and well-organized work environment. Communication is to be kind and professional.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift, stabilize, and maneuver heavy, fragile glass panels alongside an installation partner.
Qualifications:
  • Previous installation, construction, or trade experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to read measurements accurately
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy materials safely
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience installing frameless shower doors, mirrors, or custom glass systems
  • Familiarity with construction sites, residential and/or commercial installations
  • Experience using hand tools, levels, drills, and installation equipment
  • Ability to safely lift, carry and hold heavy panels without damaging product
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to represent the company professionally
Benefits & Compensation:
Studio G offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees, including but not limited to:
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Disability and life insurance
  • Retirement savings plan
  • Health Savings Accounts
  • Chiropractic care

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and skill set.
Studio G is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
