What does a Kawneer do?

Kawneer is not a job title but rather a well-known company specializing in architectural aluminum building products and systems, such as windows, doors, and curtain walls. Professionals who work at Kawneer may include engineers, fabricators, installers, sales representatives, and project managers, all focused on designing, manufacturing, and installing architectural products for commercial buildings. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Kawneer (Architectural Aluminum Systems) installer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Kawneer Installer, you need a solid understanding of construction practices, blueprint reading, and experience with architectural aluminum systems, often supported by a high school diploma or trade certification. Familiarity with power tools, glazing systems, and installation software like AutoCAD is typically required.
