Stewart Glass is seeking a Project Engineer to support the design, planning, and execution of projects within our glass manufacturing operations. This role will focus on coordinating technical solutions, managing timelines, and ensuring successful delivery of projects that enhance plant performance and efficiency.


PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Develop and manage project schedules to track the design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of equipment.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, engineers, and clients to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.
  • Identify technical challenges and propose effective solutions to maintain project efficiency.
  • Work on-site in Logan, OH full-time, supporting hands-on engineering efforts in a manufacturing environment.
  • Conduct on-site work in time-sensitive and environmentally challenging conditions when required.
  • Ensure project outcomes meet quality standards, deadlines, and budgetary constraints.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Ceramic Engineering.
  • U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • 2 - 5 + years of experience in mechanical design, including assembly design, component design, material selection, system integration, and manufacturing processes. (Preferred)
  • Strong hands-on engineering approach with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint
  • Highly organized with strong technical writing skills and experience in verbal presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and technical levels.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to coordinate with management and other departments.

  • Office Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Night Shift 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (shift differential for nights)
  • Day Shift 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM 
  • All Shifts: 4 days on, 4 days off

Currency: United States Dollar (USD)
