The Opportunity:
With cloud-based tools, faster GPUs, and the explosion of connected devices, geospatial data has more potential than ever. We're looking for a skilled geospatial and remote sensing analyst can turn that data into mission critical information. If that sounds like you, we have an opportunity for you to use your geospatial analysis skills to transform the Department of War.
As a geospatial and remote sensing analyst at Booz Allen, you'll work with a team of analysts, engineers, and industry subject matter experts to extract meaning and context from a variety of vector and raster data sources. Using resources like ArcGIS, QT Modeler, RemoteView, and SOCET GXP, you'll develop new ways to find patterns and connections to answer our Department of War customer's needs.
On our team, you'll also use your skills to leverage satellite and airborne optical, infrared, and motion remote sensing solutions, and you'll analyze data acquired by aircrafts, satellites, and ground-based platforms to assess meaning and potential intent. You'll design, analyze, develop, create, and map geospatial solutions for priorities like infrastructure, topography, human geography, and intelligence. Your visualization skills will come in handy as you build infrastructure analyses and formal reports to make sure warfighters and key stakeholders have the timely information they need.
You'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as we work through challenges and develop workflows. This is an opportunity to broaden your skill set into areas like advanced analytics and data science integrating data from other sources into modeling and simulation workflows while developing products to improve our client's understanding of their mission environment.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with geospatial intelligence analysis supporting the DoD or an inter-agency organization
  • Experience conducting geospatial analysis of objects and networks using geospatial tools, methodologies, spatial-temporal data, imagery, and social and physical sciences
  • Experience using GEOINT tools such as the ESRI ArcGIS Pro software suite or ArcGIS Online
  • Knowledge of ETL best practices for geospatial data
  • Knowledge of local and enterprise geodatabase design, management, and deployment
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies
  • Ability to effectively convey complex information and processes to a wide audience
  • Ability to work creatively and manage multiple project deliverables with limited guidance in a dispersed team environment
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with web-based GIS, including ArcGIS Enterprise and Portal for ArcGIS
  • Experience with spatial statistics and spatiotemporal modeling methods
  • Experience with static and dynamic cartographic production
  • Experience automating geocoding
  • Experience working in the Defense or Intelligence community
  • Knowledge of defense and intelligence data sources or analytic tools
  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
