Job Description:
Responsible for the effective management and daily operations of the St. Mary's Medical Center Gift Shop, which serves patients, visitors, and staff while raising funds for grants supporting patient care and scholarships for future healthcare workers. The Gift Shop Supervisor leads the employees and volunteers in the shop in cooperation with Volunteer Services.
Merchandise purchased by the Gift Shop Supervisor must appeal to various age groups with good taste based on current trends. Annual attendance at regional and national gift shows by the Supervisor is needed to maintain the shop.
• Strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with managing inventory and financial reporting
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work with a variety of staff and volunteers
