Job description

About Silipint

Silipint is the original and only patented silicone drinkware brand. Our products are unbreakable, non-toxic, dishwasher safe, microwaveable, oven safe, and freezer friendly - designed for everyday use, without trade-offs. With a utility patent on all core formats, we offer something rare in this category: a truly defensible product that can’t be easily copied or private labeled.

We’re at the beginning of a new chapter. Following a recent acquisition, we’re building a team focused on turning a strong foundation into something exceptional. Silipint has real traction across wholesale, promo, and retail channels - and now, with the backing of experienced operators and committed capital, we’re positioned to invest in the strategy, structure, and talent needed to reach our full potential.

If you're looking for a high-impact role where you can help rebuild something meaningful - and you prefer action over inertia - you’ll fit right in.

Role Overview

We're looking for a driven, resourceful Sales Manager to accelerate Silipint's growth across specialty retail, gift, souvenir, convenience, and promotional product channels.

This role will focus on expanding Silipint's presence in impulse purchase environments where customers discover products in gift shops, tourist destinations, resort properties, convenience stores, outdoor retailers, event venues, and promotional product programs.

This is a hunter role, not an account maintenance role. You'll spend the majority of your time identifying new opportunities, prospecting buyers, generating leads, building relationships, and converting new accounts.

Success in this role requires someone who understands how novelty and branded products are sold. You know how to get products into gift shops, destination retail locations, regional chains, and promotional product programs. You are comfortable cold calling, following up relentlessly, and building a pipeline from scratch.

We're not looking for someone focused primarily on big-box retail. We're looking for someone who thrives opening hundreds of smaller opportunities that collectively drive meaningful growth.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities across gift, souvenir, convenience, resort, outdoor, promotional products, and specialty retail channels.
  • Generate leads through outbound prospecting, cold calling, trade shows, referrals, and industry networking.
  • Build relationships with buyers, distributors, promotional product companies, and independent retailers.
  • Develop and execute territory plans designed to increase Silipint's presence in impulse purchase environments.
  • Consistently maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Account Growth & Relationship Management

  • Identify opportunities for assortment expansion, seasonal programs, custom products, and repeat business.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to customers throughout the sales process.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding, order fulfillment, and account support.

Sales Process & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline forecasting.
  • Track outreach activity, conversion rates, and sales performance.
  • Provide regular reporting on prospecting efforts, account wins, and pipeline development.
  • Represent Silipint at trade shows and industry events as needed.

You Might Be a Fit If You...

  • Have 3-7+ years of sales experience in promotional products, giftware, souvenirs, branded merchandise, novelty products, drinkware, outdoor products, or adjacent categories.
  • Have experience selling into gift shops, specialty retail, convenience stores, resorts, tourist destinations, promotional product distributors, or regional retail chains.
  • Are comfortable spending a significant portion of your day prospecting, cold calling, and generating new business.
  • Have a proven track record of opening new accounts through outbound outreach.
  • Understand the dynamics of impulse purchase and novelty retail.
  • Are highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing a large volume of opportunities simultaneously.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy building something rather than maintaining the status quo.

Nice to Have

  • Existing relationships within the promotional products industry (PPAI/ASI network).
  • Experience selling custom branded merchandise or logoed products.
  • Experience working with souvenir, gift, resort, museum, zoo, aquarium, or tourism-focused retailers.
  • Experience managing independent sales representatives or distributor networks.
  • CRM proficiency.
