The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is here to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests, and what better escape is there than some retail therapy?  With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for a team member to assist in all areas of the gift shop, serving, running the register and keeping the store looking fresh and clean.

Job Type: Part Time

Pay $15 per hour

Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age
Reports to: Gift Shop Manager/Gift Shop Supervisor

As a gift shop clerk, your positive energy and smile will welcome every guest and assist them with their purchases.

Responsibilities include:

  • Display and Stock Inventory items as needed
  • Keep Gift Shops neat and clean
  • Greet and take care of customers
  • Use register for cash and card payments

Personal Skills

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, with weekends and night time availability
  • Can handle cash and card payments and count back cash accurately
  • Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
  • Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
  • Ability to manage time well.
  • Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
  • Conducts him\herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times
  • Understands and communicates the Margaritaville Lake Resort Mission.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Minimum lifting & pulling of 20 pounds.
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
  • Continuous standing for duration of shift
