B2B Sales Representative - Packaging and Gift Sales

Papillon Ribbon & Bow Inc

Clifton, NJ โ€ข On-site

$95K - $110K/yr

Full-time

Re-posted yesterday

Job description

Benefits:
  • 401(k)
  • Bonus based on performance
  • Competitive salary
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off

Papillon Ribbon and Bow is hiring one salesperson to grow assigned accounts, win back lapsed customers, and open new B2B accounts in packaging, ribbon, gift boxes, and branded presentation products.
Compensation: 65-75 base plus uncapped commission. Mature at-target earnings are 100-110k.
What the job is
About half your time is growing and protecting accounts we assign you: customers who already buy from us. The rest is winning back customers who have gone quiet and opening new ones from a named target list we research for you.
This role includes real cold outreach. We build the lists and run email touches around your calls, but you will still start conversations with buyers who do not know us yet. You should be comfortable doing that.
What you would do
  • Grow and protect assigned accounts: know when they reorder and what project is next
  • Work the winback list: call lapsed customers, quote, sample, and follow up until it closes
  • Prospect a researched target list of named B2B accounts
  • Handle custom packaging inquiries end to end, with our quote desk and production team behind you
  • Keep your accounts, quotes, and next steps current so nothing slips
You will do well here if you
  • Live on the phone and follow up without being chased
  • Can manage a live account list without dropping details
  • Are willing to open new accounts and stay steady through the no's
  • Know how to move a buyer from quote to sample to order
  • Are coachable. Packaging or wholesale experience is a plus, not a requirement. We will teach you the products.
How the money works
You earn base plus uncapped commission, with accelerators once you pass target. You earn on new business and on growth in the accounts you are assigned, plus a bonus for winning back approved lapsed customers. Year one is ramped while you learn the products, customers, and quoting flow. We will walk you through the full math, including rates, quota, and payout timing, in the first conversation.
About us
Papillon Ribbon and Bow makes and sells satin and grosgrain ribbon, luxury gift boxes, and the finishing touches that make a product look expensive. Three brands, our own overseas manufacturing, and a customer base that already knows us.
Logistics
This is a full-time W-2 role based in Clifton, NJ. You will be on-site during ramp so you can learn the products, customers, and quoting process quickly. Hybrid and field flexibility opens up once you are managing accounts cleanly and keeping a reliable forecast.
Application process
Attach a resume or LinkedIn profile. No cover letter. If we move forward, we will ask you two quick questions about a deal you closed.
