Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  1. Drives quality customer service through the daily management of employees and site initiatives. Effectively answers all customer questions and resolves complaints.
  2. Promotes and sells membership packages and car-wash upgrades.
  3. Provides direction to staff; assists with training and coaching employees to promote and up-sell memberships and to provide quality customer service.
  4. Maintains site cleanliness, equipment operation and quality wash service. Performs visual inspections of the tunnel and equipment room to ensure equipment and chemicals are functioning properly; performs routine preventative maintenance.
  5. Orders parts, chemicals, products and supplies as needed; ensures accurate inventory.
  6. Performs daily bookkeeping procedures, cash reconciliation, and deposit procedures.
  7. Assists with training staff. Coaches and recognizes good performance of employees.
  8. Maintains high degree of confidentiality regarding company documents, passwords/codes, keys and overall site security.
  9. Enforces and maintains high level of safety for customers and employees. Reports potential hazards and accidents/injuries.
  10. Understands, follows, and enforces all general rules, company policies and procedures.  
  11. Works flexible hours/shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays; additional hours as needed to manage/support site operations.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  1. One to two years of previous supervisory experience in a retail or customer service environment required. Proven ability to build strong and effective teams.
  2. Degree or certification preferred
  3. Strong technological skills preferred. Mechanical knowledge preferred.
  4. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  5. Good accuracy and attention to detail. Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Able to multi-task.
  6. Able to lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 pounds alone. Regular use of ladder.
  7. Physical stamina to work long hours and have physical mobility to bend, kneel, stoop, squat, reach and stand for long periods of time. Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  8. Required to maintain valid driver’s license and insurable driving record. Must maintain personal liability coverage on own vehicle.
