The Shopper Marketing Manager (Walmart) plays a key role in bringing Red Bull's brand to life for Walmart shoppers through engaging, insight-driven marketing programs. In this role, you'll help create and execute campaigns and experiences that connect with consumers, support Walmart's business goals, and strengthen Red Bull's presence in-store and online.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll develop and deliver a variety of shopper marketing initiatives, from scalable channel programs to customized retailer activations. You'll use shopper insights and market trends to create experiences that inspire shoppers, drive purchase consideration, and support meaningful business results.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing creativity and organization. You'll manage projects from concept through execution, coordinating areas such as promotional programming, media planning, creative development, sales tools, internal communications, and performance analysis. You'll also collaborate with teams across the business to ensure programs are aligned, impactful, and executed successfully.

As a key point of contact for project execution, you'll help bring innovative ideas to life, provide ongoing project updates, and contribute to customer-facing and internal meetings. You'll play an important role in supporting Red Bull's Retailtainment approach, creating memorable shopper experiences that differentiate the brand while delivering value for both Walmart and Red Bull.

Simply put, this role helps Red Bull grow its impact at Walmart by creating engaging shopper experiences, strengthening retail partnerships, and developing creative solutions that drive brand visibility and business growth.

  • Responsible for all Shopper Marketing Programming (Standard & Retailtainment) execution at Walmart

DEVELOP AND EXECUTE RETAIL PORGRAMS THAT DIFFERENTIATE RED BULL WITH SHOPPER AND RETAILER VS. COMPETITION

Own the end-to-end development, execution, and optimization of Walmart Shopper Marketing programs, ensuring flawless implementation of campaigns that deliver against customer, shopper, and brand objectives.

Translate Red Bull brand strategies, assets, and initiatives into compelling Shopper Marketing programs ranging from scalable, turnkey solutions to breakthrough, innovative activations.

Leverage consumer, shopper, and market insights to identify emerging trends and opportunities that shape future programming and strengthen Red Bull's competitive advantage at Walmart.

Lead the briefing and development process with internal teams and agency partners, ensuring all creative, messaging, and execution align with brand standards and resonate within the Walmart retail landscape.

Partner cross-functionally and with external stakeholders to drive alignment, accountability, and successful delivery of program objectives, launch materials, and performance recaps.

BUILD THE BRAND VIA RETAILTAINMENT PROGRAMS

Execute Red Bull's annual Retailtainment strategy and customer tour programs, delivering engaging brand experiences that align with customer needs and business priorities.

Support the development, maintenance, and evolution of the Retailtainment Playbook by incorporating market insights, customer feedback, best practices, and emerging trends.

Measure and evaluate Retailtainment program effectiveness through established tracking tools, performance metrics, and consumer insights to drive continuous improvement.

Develop comprehensive program recaps that highlight key results, learnings, and optimization opportunities for future activations.

CROSS FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

Build strong partnerships across Sales, Brand, Partnerships, and other internal stakeholders to foster collaboration, accountability, and alignment on shared business objectives.

Lead cross-functional planning and execution of Retailtainment initiatives, ensuring effective communication, resource management, budget stewardship, and on-time delivery.

Serve as the Retailtainment brand steward, overseeing brand standards, creative development, social content integration, and sampling coordination.

Partner with the Red Bull Partnerships team to identify strategic partners that enhance program impact, generate incremental revenue, and offset execution costs.

Proactively engage sales teams to understand customer needs, resolve challenges, and identify opportunities for Retailtainment growth and innovation.

AGENCY MANAGEMENT

Serve as the primary point of contact for Retailtainment agencies, vendors, and execution partners, ensuring seamless program delivery and operational excellence.

Manage agency and vendor relationships, including contracting, performance management, deliverable oversight, and issue resolution.

Oversee key logistical and operational components of Retailtainment programs, including branded assets, field training, customer communications, legal compliance, data collection, and consumer engagement tools.

Continuously evaluate partner performance and implement improvements to maximize effectiveness, efficiency, and service quality.

MAXIMIZES THE REACH, PURCHASE POTENTIAL, AND ROI OF RETAIL PROGRAMS

Lead the measurement and evaluation strategy for Walmart Shopper Marketing programs, leveraging sales data, shopper insights, custom research, program recaps, After Action Reviews, and annual learning plans.

Analyze program performance and consumer behavior to identify opportunities that increase shopper engagement, conversion, program reach, and overall business impact.

Partner with internal stakeholders and retail partners to develop and implement strategies that maximize purchase potential while aligning with brand priorities, customer objectives, and shopper needs.

Maintain deep expertise in Walmart's shopper marketing capabilities, measurement tools, and vendor landscape to unlock effective solutions and drive stronger program outcomes.

Ensure consistent messaging, strategic alignment, and actionable recommendations that improve future program performance and ROI.

DRIVES INNOVATION AND QUALITY EXECUTION

Champion innovation across Shopper Marketing and Retailtainment by identifying emerging trends, new capabilities, and best-in-class retail experiences that strengthen Red Bull's competitive position.

Continuously improve program quality and execution standards through testing, learning, and application of market and competitive insights.

Monitor competitive activity and experiential marketing trends, providing recommendations, opportunities, and potential risks to stakeholders.

Share learnings, best practices, and success stories across Brand and Sales organizations to elevate overall program effectiveness and executional excellence.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in CPG environment, ideally within Sales, Brand or Shopper Marketing
  • Field experience is a plus
  • Strong project management, solution orientation and cross-functional collaboration skills - ability to organize, prioritize and deliver on time
  • Strategic and intellectually curious, with track record of up-leveling projects to maximize success
  • Ability to drive insights into action
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Fluent English
Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa. The base salary range for this position is $85,360 - $128,040 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
