Duties
  • Assist with the installation of geothermal heat pump systems, HVAC units, and related mechanical components according to schematics and design plans
  • Support the setup and connection of plumbing, refrigeration lines, and electrical wiring for various heating and cooling equipment
  • Learn to interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to ensure accurate system installation
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks on installed systems, including equipment repair and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment
  • Help with field service tasks such as diagnosing system issues, performing repairs on appliances, air conditioning units, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration systems
  • Follow safety protocols during all phases of installation and maintenance work to ensure a secure work environment
  • Support team members in property maintenance activities related to HVAC/R systems and general mechanical upkeep

Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of construction principles and mechanical systems; previous experience as a service technician is a plus
  • Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design concepts, plumbing, refrigeration, or appliance repair is highly desirable
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical diagrams and operate diagnostic tools like ohmmeters
