HVAC Installer – Geothermal Experience Required


Clark’s | Dickson, TN


Full-Time


Clark’s is looking for an experienced HVAC Installer with hands-on geothermal experience to join our team in Dickson, TN. We are looking for someone who can perform high-quality residential HVAC installations and has actual experience installing and working with geothermal/ground-source heat pump systems. Geothermal experience is required for this position.


What You'll Do

  • Install residential HVAC systems, including geothermal/ground-source heat pump equipment
  • Install and replace heat pumps, air handlers, furnaces and related HVAC equipment
  • Connect and configure geothermal system components according to manufacturer specifications
  • Perform equipment change-outs and new installations
  • Install ductwork, refrigerant piping, condensate drains, electrical connections and related components
  • Properly start up, test and verify system operation after installation
  • Read installation specifications, diagrams and manufacturer instructions
  • Identify installation issues and troubleshoot problems in the field
  • Maintain clean, professional and organized job sites
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
  • Complete required job documentation accurately
  • Follow company procedures and all applicable safety and code requirements
  • Work with other installers, technicians and management to complete jobs correctly and efficiently


What We're Looking For

  • Previous geothermal HVAC installation experience – REQUIRED
  • 3+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred
  • Strong residential HVAC installation skills
  • Experience with heat pumps and complete system change-outs
  • Ability to troubleshoot installation and startup issues
  • Understanding of refrigerant practices and HVAC electrical components
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an installation team
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • EPA certification preferred
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of HVAC installation work


The Person We Want

We're not looking for someone who has only heard of geothermal or worked around a crew that installed it. We need an installer who has personally worked with geothermal HVAC systems and understands how these installations differ from conventional residential HVAC systems.
