Leidos Defense Systems Electrical Manufacturing is seeking a Operations Material Analyst to join our team that supports assembly of a variety of hardware including electrical chassis, cables, printed circuit board assemblies and electro-mechanical assembly efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with lab managers and lab technicians supporting production efforts while maintaining delivery schedules and due dates.
  • Material movement in and out of labs to support production builds.
  • Generate serial numbers for subassemblies, organize and verify kits, and prep parts for use as required.
  • Escalate kit shortages or problems needed to complete builds.
  • Packaging of completed electrical assemblies.
  • Track and move electronic subassemblies between electronic assembly labs, quality inspection labs, stockrooms, and shipping docks as required to meet quality, safety, and delivery goals.
  • Perform all associated computer transactions necessary to document material movements in our corporate quality and accounting systems.
  • Utilize visual management standards for labeling and staging totes of subassemblies and will ensure that work in process counts are accurate and up to date.
  • Responsible for assisting and training lower level support employees.
  • Work in team environment and interacting with different functions, project teams and productions teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of prior relevant experience in inventory management or materials management.
  • Applicants must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain workplace cleanliness with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Deltek Costpoint.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Familiarity with Bill of Material (BOM) and Costpoint Manufacturing Orders.
  • Experience with consumable storage and accountability.
  • ESD Processes & Procedures.
  • Electronic component handling requirements.
