Position Description: Geospatial Solutions Architect - Contingent Pipeline Opportunity - We're building a talent pipeline for upcoming U.S. Government defense IT and analytics support roles. Opportunities are contingent upon task order awards and funding under existing contracts.


Location: Remote


Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement geospatial solutions to support visualization, analysis, and decision-making
  • Develop and maintain mapping services, spatial data pipelines, and operational dashboards
  • Integrate geospatial data into cloud-based applications and platforms
  • Build interactive maps and visualization tools for end users
  • Perform spatial analysis, remote sensing, and support geospatial AI/ML applications
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability of geospatial solutions
  • Collaborate with data, analytics, and engineering teams to align geospatial capabilities with mission needs
  • Troubleshoot and optimize GIS applications and services
  • Duties and responsibilities may change based on program needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, or related field
  • OR five years of equivalent experience in geospatial architecture or GIS development
  • Experience developing GIS solutions using tools such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms
  • Experience integrating geospatial data into cloud-based applications
  • Strong understanding of geospatial data formats, mapping services, and spatial analysis
  • Experience performing spatial analysis, remote sensing, and supporting geospatial AI/ML applications
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience supporting cloud-based geospatial architectures 
  • Experience with APIs and geospatial data services 
  • Experience supporting federal or regulated environments 
  • Experience integrating geospatial data with analytics or data platforms

Certifications:

  • Required: None
  • Preferred: ESRI technical certification, GIS Professional GISP
