Your Job

We are seeking a Director of Category Management to lead and elevate our Strategic Growth Channel. This is a high impact leadership role for a strategic thinker, compelling storyteller, and data driven change agent who thrives at the intersection of analytics, insight generation, and customer influence. As Director, you will lead, inspire, and develop a team of Category Managers, setting a clear vision for how insights translate into growth. You will own the end to end story—turning complex data into clear, actionable narratives that influence retail partners and drive long term value for Georgia Pacific.

What You Will Do
  • Directly lead, coach, and motivate a team of Category Managers across multiple categories.
  • Build a high performing, insight driven culture that values curiosity, communication, and continuous development.
  • Provide mentorship, feedback, and stretch opportunities that grow future leaders.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities by mining and synthesizing data from Circana, Kantar, consumer research, and other analytical tools.
  • Transform analysis into compelling, customer ready stories that clearly articulate why opportunities exist and how retailers can act on them.
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to internal stakeholders and retail customers.
  • Lead the development of actionable recommendations that help retailers grow their paper and disposable tableware categories.
  • Act as a catalyst for positive change—externally with customers and internally across Georgia Pacific.
  • Set the standard for category management excellence across the Strategic Growth Channel.
  • Partner cross functionally to shape strategy, influence decisions, and accelerate commercial outcomes.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7 years' work experience in a Consumer Products Goods company
  • 5 years' work experience in Category Management / Analysis
  • Experience in telling analytical business stories that address growth opportunities and solves internal and customer problems

Pay: $150,000 – $225,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay based on performance.
