Job description

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Geological Specialist 3 for the Power Generation Market Sector in the Indianapolis, IN, or Louisville, KY areas. This individual will provide geological support for projects in the Energy, Transportation, Power and Energy business units. The position will require travel and fieldwork generally located in Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio areas.

General Characteristics

  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills, works on small projects or portions of larger projects; assist Task Managers with aspects of projects; proactively implements Quality Management System (QMS) for project deliverables.

Minimum Years of Experience

  • 8+ Years of Experience

Education

  • B.S. or M.S. from a Geology School

Certification/Licensure

  • Driver’s License

Technical Responsibilities

  • Leads field task from the field or office.
  • Prepare data and visualizations such as tables, charts, accurate reports, and illustrations for the interpretation or presentation of data, findings, or analyses.
  • Show progress and skill in contributing to the preparation of technical reports and presentations that explain research and findings to prevent, control, restore, cleanup, or address environmental issues or problems.
  • Begins to independently contribute to work plans to investigate geologic and groundwater projects.
