Job Description
Position Overview:
Help extend our geolocation-based player verification service to ensure that players can only play games in legal markets. Act as a GoLang advocate for the company and recommend GoLang, as appropriate, for use in other projects.
Design and implement backend solutions to appease the needs of our players, game studio partners and casino operators. Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of product managers, game designers, front-end engineers and quality assurance to build industry leading features.
Qualifications
As a Senior GoLang Engineer, you will
• Review new product designs and suggest a technical design to meet the needs of the business
• Help drive the design and execution of projects with other engineers on the team
• Be a proactive driver of automated testing in the form of unit, integration, functional and load tests
• Follow Agile best practices with your team to meet sprints commitments
• Work collaboratively with Quality Assurance to ensure that delivered stories are well documented and edge cases are considered
• Own a design, execution and release of various feature sets per quarter
Required experience and knowledge
  • 3+ years of GoLang experience
  • 5+ years of back-end development experience
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience with RDBMS and SQL, preferably Postgres
  • Clear understanding of ACID database transactions

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Python
  • Excellent analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills
