Job Summary:
Geographic Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Programmer/Analyst V to support their Virtual OneStop software solution. The role involves working in an Agile environment to deliver new development, maintain applications, and respond to customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Performs work independently under minimal supervision.
โ€ข Maintain web applications.
โ€ข Design and build applications using Microsoft .NET Technologies.
โ€ข Migrate internally developed applications to latest Microsoft .NET Technologies.
โ€ข Troubleshoot and debug development and production issues.
โ€ข Perform tests to find system/software defects.
โ€ข Follow design specs.
โ€ข Applying best practices.
โ€ข Read specifications and design software solutions.
โ€ข Mentoring.
โ€ข Create design specs.
โ€ข Interface with subject matter experts to gather requirements.
โ€ข Performing technical interviews.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Proven, real world work experience in Microsoft Software Environment: MS SQL Server, .NET Framework, Visual Studio 2010 - 2017.
โ€ข Experience with migrating legacy applications to .NET Platform.
โ€ข Experience writing and debugging ASP.NET Web Form applications.
โ€ข Experience using Team Foundation Server.
โ€ข Experience with JavaScript, JavaScript libraries: JQuery, Bootstrap, Mustache, and AngularJS.
โ€ข Experience with WCF/REST Services, Web API, and Mobile development is a plus.
โ€ข 10 years + of ASP.Net programming
โ€ข Must deal effectively with critical deadlines, and a customer base with high service level expectations.
โ€ข A Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
