JOB OVERVIEW
A Parts Advisor at a Genesis dealership plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the dealership's parts department. Their primary responsibility is to assist customers, including both dealership service departments and retail customers, in finding and purchasing the right Genesis automotive parts and accessories. Genesis Dealership Parts Advisor plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction and the profitability of the parts department. They should have excellent communication and customer service skills, a solid understanding of automotive parts and accessories, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in identifying and selecting the correct Genesis parts and accessories for their vehicles. This involves addressing inquiries in person, over the phone, or through email and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  2. Parts Ordering: Place orders for Genesis parts and accessories, either directly from the manufacturer or through authorized suppliers, to maintain an adequate inventory based on dealership demand.
  3. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of Genesis parts and accessories. This includes tracking stock levels, reordering when necessary, and organizing and storing parts to prevent damage or loss.
  4. Parts Catalog Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Genesis parts catalog, keeping up-to-date with any changes or updates to available parts and accessories.
