Job description

We are looking for a LEAD Commercial Generator Service Technician / Mechanic with a minimum of 7
years of experience in the Commercial field.


We are looking for a highly qualified tech who can lead a team of generator service technicians in a
small company atmosphere. You will work on a wide variety of equipment models and sizes ranging
from 10kW to 2mW, transfer switches and anything else your customer needs help with. This is not a
boring role, every day will be a different challenge. You will be a subject matter expert and your input
will help shape the direction we take on our jobs. You will have a strong sense of ownership of your
projects and satisfaction seeing them through completion. You will be expected to have personal
accountability and will need to mentor your team to ensure they are growing in their role. This is NOT an
entry level position.

Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair commercial stationary and rental Power equipment
  • Diagnose, repair and retrofit analog and EOL control systems to ne Digital technology
  • Inspect and perform equipment repairs and system startup
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests
  • Accurately diagnose equipment failures
  • Communicate effectively with customer and account manager
  • Help estimate labor and materials needed for various projects
  • Be aware of man hours and material cost for ongoing jobs
  • Train and mentor junior technicians in their role
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
