Job description

About Tia

Tia is building a new model for women's healthcare — one that treats women as whole people, not separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, mental health, gynecology, and wellness across both in-person and virtual settings, Tia is improving outcomes, lowering costs, and creating a better experience for patients and providers alike.

About the Role

We're hiring a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide gynecology-focused, whole-person outpatient care at our Studio City clinic.

This role is ideal for a provider with strong women's health experience who is confident managing a broad range of gynecologic and reproductive health concerns, while also being comfortable supporting common primary care needs in an integrated care model.

You will provide care across preventive visits, gynecology follow-ups, reproductive health concerns, lab reviews, care plan generation, and problem-based visits. The ideal candidate is especially comfortable evaluating and managing patients with concerns such as endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, abnormal bleeding, fertility assessment, trying-to-conceive counseling, fertility follow-up, and other gynecology follow-up needs.

Because Tia's care model treats women as whole people, this role also includes common outpatient primary care visits, including concerns such as cough, cold and flu symptoms, abdominal or digestive issues, headaches, blood pressure checks, vaccines and injections, acne, rashes or skin changes, sleep concerns, weight management, and mental health screening and follow-up within scope.

Why Tia
  • Built-in protected time for documentation, care coordination, and team collaboration, including dedicated weekly management time aligned across markets
  • AI-supported documentation to reduce charting burden
  • Beautiful, thoughtfully designed clinics in prime locations
  • Quarterly bonus + equity — not typical in clinical roles
  • Opportunity to build and shape a new model for women's healthcare

What You'll Do
  • Provide gynecology-focused outpatient care, including annual preventive exams, contraception counseling, STI consultations, vaginal, vulvar, urinary, and genital symptoms, cervical cancer screening follow-up, pregnancy confirmation, all-options pregnancy counseling, and gynecology follow-up visits.
  • Evaluate and manage reproductive and gynecologic concerns, including endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, cramps, fertility assessment, trying-to-conceive counseling, and fertility follow-up.
  • Support patients through menopause and perimenopause assessment and follow-up, sexual wellness concerns, and other women's health needs.
  • Provide whole-person primary care for common outpatient concerns, including cough, cold and flu symptoms, abdominal or digestive issues, headaches, blood pressure checks, ear and eye issues, vaccines and injections, acne, rashes, skin changes, sleep disturbances, and weight management visits.
  • Conduct mental health screenings and follow-up within scope, including anxiety, depression, mood, stress, and sleep-related concerns.
  • Review labs, develop care plans, communicate results clearly, and guide patients through next steps.
  • Partner closely with physicians, APPs, RNs, behavioral health providers, clinic operations, and clinical leadership to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Use technology, data, and clinical protocols to support evidence-based care, efficient documentation, and high-quality patient outcomes.

What You'll Bring
  • Active California NP or PA license.
  • National board certification, such as ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, NCC, or equivalent.
  • Active DEA, or ability to obtain prior to start.
  • 2+ years of outpatient clinical experience as an NP or PA:
    • 2+ years of experience in women's health, gynecology, reproductive health, contraception, STI care, annual preventive exams, and problem-based gynecology visits.
    • Experience evaluating and managing gynecologic concerns such as endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, fertility assessment, trying-to-conceive counseling, and gynecology follow-up.
    • Comfort providing integrated primary care visits for common outpatient concerns.
  • Strong clinical judgment, excellent patient communication skills, and a commitment to inclusive, affirming, patient-centered care.
  • Comfort working in a collaborative care model and partnering with operations to balance access, quality, documentation, and patient experience.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience as a WHNP, FNP, PA, or other APP in a women's health, OB/GYN, reproductive health, fertility, family medicine, or integrated primary care setting.
  • Experience managing menopause and perimenopause care, sexual wellness, weight management, and common dermatologic concerns.
  • Experience practicing in a collaborative, team-based, tech-enabled care model.
Training and Development

We are especially interested in providers who bring strong women's health and gynecology experience and are excited to practice within Tia's integrated care model.

Candidates who are strong in gynecology and reproductive health may receive additional training in areas such as menopause management, sexual health, medical dermatology, weight management, procedural scope, and Tia-specific care model workflows.
