Ace Hardware, located in Beaverton, OR, is seeking a part-time General Sales Rep to join our results-driven and customer-focused team. As we continue to strengthen our presence in the community, we offer a part-time, on-site opportunity with competitive hourly pay ranging from $16.30 to $18.00. THE TYPE OF GENERAL SALES REP WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Basic to intermediate computer literacy
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Good customer service skills

Preferred:

  • Retail experience
  • Experience with or around heavy machinery
  • Comfort with spreadsheets and data
  • Ability to identify pairs (numbers, shapes) and patterns
  • Ability to rapidly research and learn new skills

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR GENERAL SALES REP

This position is part-time with shifts that will vary within our business hours of 6:45 am to 8:30 pm. All scheduled hours will fall within these times, providing flexibility while ensuring coverage during our busiest periods.


As a General Sales Rep at Hyland Hills Ace Hardware, you will serve customers by assisting them in finding the products they need to complete their projects. You will be expected to maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment. You will use or learn to use modern retail tools, such as internet searches, point-of-sale systems, and inventory lookup software, to support your daily responsibilities. Your role will also involve contributing to the health of the store's inventory, collaborating with colleagues to foster a positive workplace, and participating in our efforts to enhance the store's offerings and build community connections.
