Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV is seeking a strategic program leader to drive cross-functional execution across manufacturing, product, and software initiatives. This role operates at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and technology-ensuring solutions are developed, implemented, and sustained effectively across global manufacturing environments.
You'll lead alignment, establish scalable program management processes, and support a wide range of initiatives-from early development through launch and into steady-state operations-playing a critical role in improving quality, execution, and overall manufacturing performance.
This role is ideal for experienced program leaders with a background in manufacturing, engineering, or technology who enjoy owning cross-functional execution across a wide range of initiatives-from early development through deployment and into steady-state operations.

HOW:
Operate as an enterprise-level program leader-aligning manufacturing, engineering, software, and plant teams to standardized processes, driving disciplined execution through PMO governance, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks to deliver successful launches across a global manufacturing footprint.
Work Arrangement - Onsite at the General Motors Technical Center in Warren, MI. This role requires ~25% domestic and international travel
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
  • Establish and scale PMO governance to drive consistent execution, visibility, and accountability across electrical launch programs (GVDP alignment)
  • Lead cross-functional program alignment across manufacturing engineering, operations, software, and vehicle teams to ensure readiness for electrical system integration and validation
  • Standardize program execution and reporting, including dashboards, KPIs, and escalation frameworks for leadership visibility
  • Lead and develop talent, strengthening team capability and PMO effectiveness
  • Partner with senior leadership, providing clear insights on program health, trade-offs, and strategic risks
  • Drive execution across a portfolio of initiatives, including new development, deployment, and ongoing operational improvements
  • Identify and mitigate risks impacting quality, timing, and manufacturing performance across plants
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and software teams to ensure solutions are scalable, executable, and sustainable in production environments
  • Influence plant execution and operational consistency across global manufacturing sites

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications)
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, manufacturing operations, or launch execution within a complex, high-volume environment
  • Experience supporting manufacturing execution across development, deployment, or production environments, including launch and/or steady-state operations
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing systems, product development, or software-enabled solutions in production environments
  • Strong expertise in PMO frameworks, governance, and structured program execution within global organizations
  • Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional programs across manufacturing, engineering, and operations
  • Experience identifying and mitigating program risks related to quality, timing, and plant readiness
  • Proficiency with program and portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, launch tracking tools)
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across functions and leadership levels
