Job description

Job Summary
.The Splice & Termination Technician is responsible for performing wire splicing, crimping, terminating, and connector assembly operations for wire harness products according to engineering specifications, customer requirements, and quality standards. Previous wire harness manufacturing experience is required for this position.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform wire splicing, crimping, soldering, and terminal insertion operations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, work instructions, and build sheets.
  • Assemble connectors, terminals, seals, and related components to specification.
  • Verify proper wire gauge, color coding, terminal placement, and connector orientation.
  • Operate crimping tools, stripping machines, applicators, and testing equipment.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and correct wiring or termination issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
  • Experience with wire splicing and terminal/crimp operations required.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of basic math preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
